Designing in the BrowserInstead of Figma First

@ntlam

For a while, nothing shipped until it existed as a polished Figma file first. That step quietly slowed everything down.

Prototype with real constraints

Building directly in the browser forces you to design with the actual font rendering, real content lengths, and real breakpoints — not an idealized frame.

A mockup that ignores real content is a mockup of the wrong problem.

Where Figma still wins

Figma still earns its place for early exploration and for handing off a concept to someone who isn't going to touch the code.
